Beverley Fowler
Not having done any art since school, I started painting around 2018 with classes at my local adult education centre with a drawing and painting course.
I carried on with classes enjoying learning about colour mixing and watercolour and eventually I would like to try oil painting as the main medium I’ve tried so far is watercolour … there’s so much to learn!
Although I haven’t done any painting recently, preferring to concentrate on ceramics for the time being, I know I will get back into it in the future!
I really enjoy seeing other artists work and get a lot of inspiration from nature.
I enjoy doing raku firing and I attend classes at Farnham pottery.
Currently I’m hand building in pottery enjoying making sculptures inspired by poppy seed heads for the garden and I sold some in last years exhibition.
I do make the poppy seed heads to sell at £45 each they’re stoneware clay and survive the frost.
