Watercolour Dry Brush Technique with Kim Page

Join us for an outstanding full day workshop with artist, pastor and teacher Kim Page.

Kim has painted professionally for nearly 30 years and has held solo and joint exhibitions in the UK and across Europe.

Kim paints in a loose, impressionist style, and with a wide-ranging choice of subjects.

His work is influenced by artists like Ken Howard, John Singer-Sargent, Sorella and the masters of Chiaroscuro - whose skill in painting strong contrasts between light and shadow created dramatic effects and imbued their work with a great sense of depth.

"I paint what I see and feel – those things which exercise my mind and cause me to stop, look, think and imagine."

Chinese Brush Painting
by Jean Turton

Join us for a fantastic full day workshop with artist and teacher Jean Turton.

Jean has been painting, teaching and demonstrating Chinese Brush Painting for over 30 years and regularly runs workshops throughout the southeast.

Jean specialises in flowers and birds, and is known for beautiful floral subjects such as orchids and wisteria, and for capturing nature with rhythmic brushstrokes.

Her interest in this area started with Chinese ceramics, wanting to paint bamboo on her pots and from an initial weekend painting course, she went on to study with Chinese artists both in the UK and China.

Jean served on the Chinese Brush Painting Society committee for a number of years, including holding the post of Chairman. She enjoys passing on her enthusiasm and love of the art to all.
