I gave up art at school when a new art teacher picked up a paint laden brush and painted what "was needed in my picture". I didn't take up painting again until I retired.

I attended classes and demonstrations and now paint for pleasure.

I particularly enjoy painting holidays with like minded people and devoting a whole week to painting without everyday things getting in the way.
