Our Society's Annual General Meeting is coming up in a couple of weeks. In April 2026 TPG will be exhibiting at the Freedom Through Expression Gallery in Alton. This forthcoming "Inspired on Thursdays" exhibition will showcase exciting new artwork created by the Alton Art Society's Thursday Paint Group. The show will feature a wide variety of work, including portraits, landscapes, and still life, and all pieces will be for sale. The Paint Group, formed in 2004, provides a space for local artists to meet, paint, and collaborate. More information

First Jenny Kennish 'My Mum's Kitchen' Second Ellen Ging 'The Fury' Third John Holden 'Meerkat' The public voted enthusiastically for their favourite painting at the AAS October 2025 Exhibition. A wide range of pictures and artists were voted for but the winners were Jenny Kennish, Ellen Ging and John Holden who received their awards at the November demonstration in the Alton Assembly Rooms.
